Microctonus hyperodae (Parasitoid wasp, Lincoln) Assembly and Gene Annotation

About Microctonus hyperodae

Microctonus hyperodae is a species of endoparasitoid wasp belonging to the hymenopteran Subfamily Euphorinae. The Euphorinae are a large subfamily of Braconidae parasitoid wasps. Some species have been used for biological pest control. They are sister group to the Meteorinae [1]. M. aethiopoides is recognised for its use as a biological control agent, specifically for their application in control of coleopteran pests such as weevils [2]. Significant morphological and developmental rate variation between M. aethiopoides populations have been observed [2].
